NEW EPISODE OF CATHOLIC FOCUS REMEMBERS BROTHER ANDRÉ


Montreal (October 27, 2010) – Salt + Light Television, Canada’s Catholic Network, explores the legacy of Brother André Bessette on its flagship program, Catholic Focus, Thursday, October 28th and Saturday, October 30th at 7 and 11 pm ET respectively.

Host Mary Rose Bacani discovers the heart-warming stories of pilgrims who travel to Saint Joseph’s Oratory from all over the world in search of peace, holiness and healing. She also visits the Cantins, a family from Southwestern Ontario that has one of the most impressive archives of Br. André in North America. Other featured segments include ordained and lay collaborators at Holy Cross-run institutes as well as touching interviews with men and women who share how Br. André continues to touch the hearts of all today.

Salt + Light is available on Bell TV (nationwide, Channel 654), Shaw (Western Canada, Channel 160), Rogers Digital Cable (Ontario, Channel 240), Cogeco Digital Cable (Ontario, Channel 185), illico Vidéotron digital TV (Quebec, Channel 242), EastLink Digital Cable (Atlantic Provinces, Channel 356).

Catholic Focus is a current affairs program that examines Catholic themes and personalities. It airs daily on Salt + Light Television at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. with a morning repeat at 7:30 a.m. (all times Eastern).
