Witness presents men and women who are making a difference in both big and small ways. Father Thomas Rosica hosts a series of in-depth interviews with distinguished, high-level religious and civic leaders - people who are contributing significantly to the vibrancy of their Catholic communities. Witness provides viewers with theological reflection, as well as personal insight into those who shape society.

Witness airs every Sunday at 8:00pm & midnight with repeats on Monday at 12:30 pm, Thursday at 8:00pm & midnight and Friday at 12:30pm (All times Eastern).

In 2011, the English-speaking world welcomed the new translation of the Roman Missal. One of the key figures responsible for the translation was a Canadian Jesuit: Archbishop Terrence Prendergast. The Montreal native is presently the Archbishop of Ottawa, as well as Canada's representative on the Vox Clara committee of the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Worship. He previously served as Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto and Archbishop of Halifax. Witness host Fr. Thomas Rosica spoke with the Archbishop at the 2011 plenary assembly of the Canadian bishops' conference.

Born in Morocco, a young Philippe Barbarin was raised in a family of 11 children. He went on to study at the Sorbonne and the Catholic Institute of Paris before eventually becoming the Archbishop of Lyon. In 2003, he was appointed to the College of Cardinals at the exceptionally young age of 53. Witness host Fr. Thomas Rosica spoke with Cardinal Barbarin at the International Eucharistic Congress in 2008.
