Join Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, CEO of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, Archbishop of Vancouver, for an evening of fun faith-filled dinner and conversation.
The Taste and See dinner gala is a fundraising evening to help support the work and mission of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation. Meet the staff from Salt + Light and be edified by lively conversation on our Catholic faith. This gala promises to be an inspirational event with prominent guest speakers from across Canada including Salt + Light TV personalities; Sebastian Gomes, Alicia Ambrosio, Charles Le Bourgeois and Rodney Leung.
Come learn more about the inception of Salt + Light and the impact World Youth Day 2002 Toronto has had on Canada from Fr. Thomas Rosica. Sebastian Gomes will speak about some of Salt + Light’s latest projects including a six-part series on the environment Creation and the documentary on the Catholic Women’s League of Canada Woman on a Mission. Rodney Leung, Chinese producer, will speak about the thriving Chinese community and the impact Chinese programming has in Canada, China and other Chinese-speaking countries. French producer Charles Le Bourgeois will share insight from his latest project, Charité sans frontières, (Charity Without Borders) and the inspiration he received from Pope Francis. Vancouver native Alicia Ambrosio will delve into what we can expect from World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow, Poland with Pope Francis.
