Faith Bowl
Kick off your Super Bowl viewing with a little faith! – Salt + Light Television will air the Family Theater Production; Faith Bowl. Iin collaboration with Catholic Athletes for Christ and the Knights of Columbus, Faith Bowl takes a look at Catholicism in sports. Canadian actor Chris Kramer, moderates a panel that includes NFL wide receiver, Chris Horn who played for the Arizona Cardinals, Mark Loretta, a Major League Baseball player with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Antonio Soave, former pro soccer player and now Executive Director of the Business School at Benedictine College in Atchison, KN.

Rosary Stars
21 young celebrities reflect on the importance of the Rosary and the Catholic faith in their lives and lead a decade of all 20 mysteries.
Each of these programs features the same animated teaching tools.We are confidant these programs promote a better understanding, appreciation and daily praying of the Rosary, especially among teenagers and young adults and families. They emphasize the power and importance of daily prayer of the Rosary and encourage us to live the mysteries every day, relating whatever we do a Mystery of the Rosary. Four 45 minute programs, one for each set of Mysteries.

Be sure to tune in for this inspiring 4 part series on Blessed Pope John XXIII starring Edward Asner in an acclaimed performance as the beloved pontiff who came from common stock and was known for his simplicity, goodness, courage and love for humanity. Shot on location in Rome and Italy, this movie tells the whole life story of John XXIII from his youth thru his young priesthood, Bishop, Cardinal and Pope. Elected supposedly as an “interim Pope” who would just keep the status quo and listen to the advisers around him, John XXIII proved to be his own man when he surprised the Church and world by calling for the Second Vatican Council. This film also underscores his wonderful sense of humor and great charity towards others, especially the poor, downtrodden, and the outcast.

Testimony: Canadian Television Premiere!
The film Testimony is based on the book of the same title, published in 2007, that features a transcript of conversations with Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz conducted by Italian journalist and Vatican expert Gian Franco Svidercoschi. Testimony premiered at the Vatican in October 2008.
The film has been translated into over a dozen languages with more than a million copies being sold in the late pontiff’s native Poland.
Testimony is a cinematic story that attempts to portray Karol Wojtyla as a man, priest, bishop and, finally, the Pope as remembered by his longtime secretary and friend. Cardinal Dziwisz accompanied the Holy Father for forty years of his life, from his times in Krakow until his last days in the Vatican. The film is a testimony of John Paul II’s life, presenting many new factsand interpretations, including those from karol Wojtyla’s youth and his private life. The film’s most poignant themes include the assassination attempt on the Pope and the moments immediately thereafter, when his life was being saved.
Testimony premieres on Salt + Light TV on Saturday December 20 th @ 8pm ET.
