"You really never know what's going to come out of left field," warns Brother Peter Bray, chancellor of Bethlehem University. Across the Divide takes viewers to this university - the first in the West Bank and, for 38 years, the only Catholic university in the Holy Land. Throughout its history, campus life has been shaped by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Here, we encounter students like Marian, whose family was caught in the crossfire. Like many Palestinian Christians, she must choose how to respond to personal tragedy. We also meet Berlanty, who, just two months from graduating, was deported to Gaza. With time running out, she must find a way to return to Bethlehem. Across the Divide sheds light on the realities of Christians in the Holy Land. Can a Catholic education help them forge a more peaceful future?
