Mark Chatel’s documentary Salut Jean Paul! looks into the impact of World Youth Day on the lives of 5 young people from different backgrounds. Witness the power of the Holy Spirit’s impact on the lives of individuals from such disparate backgrounds.

Tune in and relive the moving moments of Pope John Paul II’s arrival in Toronto, his courageous decent from the plane, and his greeting the youth.

We take you back to Exhibition place on Toronto’s lakeshore for the World Youth Day 2002 welcome ceremony. Pope John Paul II arrives to welcome the youth of the world to Toronto!

Reliving WYD 2002: The Song of the Cross
Wednesday July 25th at 9pm
In 2002, the World Youth Day Cross represented the hopes of 500,000 young Catholics and one Holy Father. We keep the memory of this historic pilgrimage alive by experiencing anew the events that transformed Toronto and revitalized the Church in Canada.

Enjoy a night of faith and music at this live concert performed by the international Catholic artists from the WYD Light of the World CD. Get ready for a night of singing and dancing with international Catholic artists as they perform live your favourite songs from World Youth Day 2002.

Friday July 27th at 7 pm
Where are we after World Youth Day in Toronto? Let’s take a trip across the nation with Pedro Guevara Mann and see how each diocese was affected by this wonderful event.

Way of the Cross
Friday July 27th at 9pm
A chance to witness again or for the first time the extraordinary presentation of the Way of the Cross re-enacted in the middle of downtown Toronto.

Downsview Vigil
Saturday July 28th at 8pm
Go back to Downsview park on the night before the Papal Mass and witness hundreds of thousands of young people as they pray, sing and dance during the overnight World Youth Day vigil.

Sunday July 29th at 8pm
Relive one of the biggest events in Canadian history: Pope John Paul II celebrates mass at Downsview park for a crowd of close to a million from around the world!
