Marc Boudignon

Editing, much like faith, requires dilligence and an attentiveness to detail. At Salt + Light Television, Marc Boudignon has been able to hone both his craft and Catholicity after a decade of editing commercials, series and documentaries. A graduate of York University's Film and Video programme and Sheridan College's Media Studies, Marc has applied his filmic rhythm, graphic sense and all-round dedication to such shows as "It Seems Like Yesterday" (hosted by Rick Mercer), a comedic look back at important moments in history; "Let The Games Begin", a multi-national production about the Ancient Olympics shown on CBC, History Television US and Channel 5 BBC; and "Players", a short fiction film about a rag-tag high school basketball team, screened in several international film festivals.

His commercial work includes spots for clients as diverse as Ford, Blue Light, CIBC and Taco Bell. To paraphrase St. Josemaria Escriva, "God calls one to serve Him in and from the ordinary, material and secular activities of human life", and Marc considers himself truly blessed to have been given an opportunity to combine his love for film and his love for the faith in such a concrete way.
