The Gift of the Lay Movements and
New Ecclesial Communities in the Church

The birth and growth of lay movements since the Second Vatican Council is a sign of the work of the Holy Spirit among us. It brings new life and new spirituality and a chance to recommit ourselves to Jesus Christ.

During May and June 2004, Salt + Light Television prepared an in-depth study of some of the many movements in the Church in Canada culminating in a Lay Symposium in Toronto in June 2004.
