Canadian Catholic organizations join forces to launch
a unique blog for the canonization of Br. André
Montreal (October 15, 2010) – On the eve of the canonization of Brother André in Rome Oct. 17, Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and the archdioceses of Montreal and Quebec have joined forces to launch a blog entirely dedicated to the first Canadian-born male saint.
The bilingual blog, located at saltandlighttv.org/blog/brotherandre, will include reports and reactions from Rome, Montreal and Quebec City, as well as photos and video.
Several journalists will contribute to the blog.

The blog will be updated regularly, from Oct. 16 to Oct. 30, when about 50,000 people will gather at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal to celebrate the new saint in his homeland. The blog will be hosted permanently on the website of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation.
