SALT AND LIGHT CATHOLIC MEDIA FOUNDATION EXPANDS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WITH ADDITION OF JULIE DI LORENZO AND ANNA ROSSETTI

June 18, 2010, (Toronto) – Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation announces the addition of Julie Di Lorenzo and Anna Rossetti to its board of directors. Successful entrepreneurs, accomplished community leaders and inspiring mentors, the new members have joined a current board comprising eight business leaders including the founders of Salt and Light - members of the Gagliano family and Salt and Light CEO, Father Thomas Rosica, CSB.

Julie Di Lorenzo is a partner at Diamante Development Corporation, a leader in the conception, construction and realization of successful building projects. Anna Rossetti is President of CPI Card Group Canada, a global leader in the financial and commercial card manufacturing and services industry.

“We could not be happier to welcome Julie and Anna, two leaders who have demonstrated generosity, insight and impressive business acumen in their respective careers,” said Tony Gagliano, chairman of the board of directors of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation. “Our board is a testament, more than ever, to the quality of content, programming and solid education produced by this unique Catholic foundation.”

Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation is a registered charity devoted to spreading the hope-filled message of Christ through the media of the day — television, Internet, radio, documentaries and other forms of social communication. The flagship product of the foundation is Salt + Light Television, Canada’s only national Catholic television channel and producer of award-winning documentaries including Love is a Choice, the official documentary on the life of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla.

“Since launching the foundation in 2003, we’ve been overwhelmed by the response from people across the country who believe that Catholics should have a positive voice in the public forum, especially in the world of media,” said Father Thomas Rosica, CSB, Chief Executive Officer of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation. “These outstanding men and women who form our board are putting their faith into practice. Their generosity, integrity and love of Church bode well for our lay-led Catholic organization.”
