POPE BENEDICT XVI APPOINTS FR. THOMAS ROSICA, CSB, CONSULTOR OF THE PONTIFICAL COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS On February 26th it was announced in Rome that the Holy Father has appointed Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, Consultor to the Pontifical Council for Social Communications for a five-year term. Fr. Rosica has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and Television Network in Canada since its inception in 2003. He will continue in that role at the Salt and Light headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
ON THE ROAD TO JERUSALEM A six-part series to prepare for Easter from the National Catholic Broadcasting Council of Canada: A biblical reflection program, hosted by Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, SJ, of Ottawa, who recorded these programs in 1996 during his time as Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto. This six-part series was written by Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB. Airs: each Tuesday throughout Lent at 8:30pm & 12:30am starting March 3 EXPERIENCING PAUL, EXPERIENCING GOD The 13-part series looks at the life and death of Saint Paul and takes an in-depth look at some of his letters to Thessalonica, Corinth and Rome. Hosted by Dr. Clabeaux, an associate professor of sacred scripture at the Pontifical College Josephinum School of Theology. Airs: Tuesdays at 10:00pm beginning March 4

LECTIO DIVINA - A YEAR WITH ST. PAUL Archbishop Thomas Collins’ Lectio Divina series is conducted once a month at St. Michael’s Cathedral, downtown Toronto. The next Lectio Divina will be based on II Corinthians 11: 30-33; 12: 1-10 and will take place on Sunday March 8, beginning with vespers at 7:00pm.
